Omuro Onsen Makiba no Yu is a day-trip hot spring facility in Matsushiro-machi, Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture. From the open-air bath you can look down over the Zenkojidaira basin and see the Northern Alps and the Hokushin Gogaku peaks, including Mt. Iizuna. The spring type is a chloride spring, and the baths use free-flowing source water. Admission is 600 yen for adults and 400 yen for elementary and junior high school students; infants are free. Opening hours are 10:00 to 21:00 on weekdays and 10:00 to 21:30 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but open on public holidays with a substitute closing day. It is 11 minutes by car from Nagano Interchange. Wi-Fi is available throughout the building, and you may bring in your own food and drinks.
