Shimojo Onsen Cosmos no Yu is a day-use hot spring in Shimojo Village, Nagano. It is open from 11:00 to 20:00, with reception until 19:30. Admission is 500 yen for adults and 200 yen for children of elementary school age and younger. The large open-air bath overlooks the Central Alps, Ina Valley and Southern Alps, and offers views of Iida City at night. The facility has large communal and open-air baths, a rest area and a restaurant, and its spring quality is sulfur spring water. It is about 5 minutes by car from Tenryukyo IC and about 5 minutes by car from Tenryukyo Station on the JR Iida Line.
