Shirasagi no Yu is a day-trip hot spring in Gero, Gifu. Founded in 1926 (Taisho 15), it is known for its Romanesque-style exterior. The indoor bath is built of hinoki cypress with tatami flooring, and the washing area has showers. The changing room has free lockers and hair dryers, and there is also a free Venus footbath. Opening hours are from 10:00 to 20:45, with last entry at 20:00. It is closed on Wednesdays (Fridays if Wednesday is a public holiday). Admission is 470 yen for adults, 180 yen for elementary school children and 100 yen for small children. It is about a 12-minute walk from Gero Station on the JR Takayama Line.
