河童伝説が残る天草市栖本町にある公共温泉施設。 河童をモチーフにしたユニークな建物で、露天岩風呂・大浴場・家族風呂（貸切）・サウナを備えている。 泉質はラドンを豊富に含むアルカリ性単純泉で、無色透明・硫黄の香りとツルスベ感のある柔らかい湯は「美肌の湯」として人気。 休憩所や食事処、日本庭園、グラウンドゴルフ場も併設され、地域住民や観光客の憩いの場となっている。
