Toraya Japanese Modern Hotel opened its private open-air bath, Gero's Medicinal Bath, in 2022. It uses a special medicinal blend made exclusively for Toraya by Okuda Mataemon Honpo, combining medicinal components from Hida's kihada tree with rice bran from Gero's premium Gin no Mikazuki rice, which is also presented to the Imperial Household. It offers Gero's only milky-white water and day-use bathing.
