Sagi no Ashiyu is located next to the central parking lot in the Gero Onsen town. It is a foot bath in Gero City, Gifu Prefecture, and the first foot bath built at Gero Onsen. It is named after a legend that about 700 years ago a single white heron descended and showed the villagers where the hot spring was welling up. It has a wooden tub and benches with a rain cover. It can be used 24 hours a day, free of charge, with no closing days.
