Hikiya is a hotel in the countryside of Kashimo, Nakatsugawa City, Gifu Prefecture. Its 4,000-tsubo grounds are surrounded by rice paddies, fields and woods. There are only two guest rooms, Yo no Ma and Sei no Ma, which make use of a 140-year-old Japanese-style building. Firefly season is usually from late June to mid-July. The hotel stands on high ground at an elevation of 660 m, and clear spring water wells up on the grounds. Private use of the whole facility is available for groups of 4 or more.
