Kaido no Yu is a communal bathhouse in Mitsumata, Yuzawa, Niigata. It has an open-air bath with a rock tub that holds about 10 people, and the indoor rock bath holds about 20 people. The spring type is alkaline simple hot spring (hypotonic, alkaline, high-temperature). It is attached to a roadside station and also has a rest room and a souvenir corner. Admission is 850 yen for adults (including 150 yen bathing tax), 350 yen for children, and 250 yen for people with disabilities. Hours are 10:00 to 21:00, with last reception at 20:30. Closed on Tuesdays, moved to another day for public holidays, the year-end and New Year period, and the Obon period. It is 15 minutes by car from Yuzawa IC, and parking is available for 60 cars.
