Shinsen no Yu is a day-use hot spring facility in Yuzawa, Niigata, offering free-flowing source water with no heating or added water. The water is clear and nearly odorless, and is said to be the only drinkable hot spring in Echigo-Yuzawa Onsen. The simple facility has an indoor bath for each gender. Hours are 12:00–20:30, with last admission at 20:00. It is closed every Wednesday, but open daily during the winter period from December through the end of March. Admission is 600 yen for adults and 300 yen for children.
