Kaikake Onsen is a traditional one-inn hot spring in Mitsumata, Yuzawa, Niigata, at an elevation of 700 meters. The hot spring is said to have opened 700 years ago. Heated source water is used in both the open-air and indoor baths. The water is a sodium-calcium chloride spring containing metaboric acid. Hours are 8:00–20:00, with admission priced at 1,200 yen for adults and 600 yen for children. It is about 15 minutes by car from Echigo-Yuzawa Station and about 17 minutes from Gala Yuzawa Station.
