Egami Onsen Public Bath is a day-use hot spring in Yuzawa, Niigata. It opened in 1938 and has continued operating for more than 80 years. The spring is a simple hot spring, with a source temperature of 52.5°C, and the water flows into the bath without reheating. Hours are 15:00-22:00 (last admission 21:30); from 7/1-8/31 and 12/1-3/31, hours are 13:00-22:00. It is closed on Wednesdays and the third Tuesday of the month. Admission is 600 yen for adults and 300 yen for children. It is a 3-minute walk from the east exit of JR Echigo-Yuzawa Station, or about a 23-minute walk (about 4 minutes by car) from Gala Yuzawa Station.
